We recently answered the call of many Holden/HSV enthusiasts and Dual Cab Ute owners by resetting the performance standard to unrivalled territory. The Harrop team worked closely with Killa Kustoms to create the Superado, the most powerful Dual Cab Ute on the market, with its Supercharged V8 LS powertrain and a range of optional upgrades to create two dynamic packages, designed to dominate either the street or the beaten track for adventure.

Like most of our customers, we weren’t ready to say goodbye to the V8 Ute in Australia. With OEM manufacturers not offering a solution, we decided to come up with one ourselves, the Harrop Superado.
The Superado has been extensively tested and developed to seamlessly transplant a Harrop TVS2650 Supercharged LSA engine in place of the factory 2.8L Turbo Diesel. The LSA engine is then mated to a 6L80 6 speed automatic transmission capable of producing 396kW of power and 825Nm of torque at the hubs. All of the factory features are retained thanks to custom looms and integration with GM E38 ECU with the support of Killa Kustoms. The final piece of the powertrain puzzle is the 2.5” Harrop Exhaust System helping the Superado breathe and providing a deep throaty V8 growl.

We fitted Australian
manufactured Shockworks Suspension to the Superado, they are expertly tuned for
superior ride control and handling off-road without compromising comfort when driving
on the street. We also fitted Harrop ELockers making the Superado capable of
tackling the roughest and most rugged terrain. ELockers are switch activated
thanks to an electromagnet and are on standby, in the rare event that the V8
torque available on tap can’t pull the Superado out of trouble.

The Superado also debuts our latest advancement in braking technology with our multi vane internal pattern featured on the one piece 36mm thick rotors. This front brake upgrade is perfect for any RG Colorado, providing a firmer pedal feel and also drastically reducing stopping distances, great for those using their Ute to tow a caravan, camper or trailer.

Like all of our Harrop development and demo vehicles, we wanted the Superado to be distinguishable before the hood was even opened. Our factory LS Colorado is now equipped with 18” Method Wheels and 285/65R18 Toyo Open Country R/T Tyres transforming the vehicles stance. We also fitted flares, a bonnet bulge, Ultra Vision light bar and Rhino roof rack to complete the look. The Harrop Superado also features an enhanced leather interior with Harrop logo embossing to offer a luxurious feel and greater comfort on long trips.
