Centre had the pleasure of carrying out a
unique build for Kial on his immaculate
VZ HSV GTO Coupe. From HSV the car had a 297KW
6.0L LS2 engine and our goal was to replace the LS2 with a crate
supercharged LSA engine, as found in the HSV
Gen-F GTS. Many
challenges were encountered during the conversion including
bonnet clearance, wiring and intercooling packaging.
We also enhanced the LSA with a Harrop Stage 2 Kit to produce a conservative 396rwkw (531whp) and 850Nm (627ftlb) torque. The
4 speed auto was rebuilt along with a 2800rpm stall converter upgrade making for a very street-able
package.
