Harrop are proud sponsors of the BMW Car Club of Victoria (BMWCCV) and hosted their June members meeting. It was a great night and opportunity for Harrop to showcase our diversity and capabilities in terms of design and development, all the way through to machining, assembly and vehicle fitment in Harrop Performance Centre.
We kicked the evening off in the design and engineering office, the hub of innovation at Harrop HQ, moving to the crows nest, overlooking the main factory space where the machining magic happens.
As we toured through the factory, the BMWCCV were given a taste of the rigorous development process for each Harrop proprietary product. We also demonstrated how fundamental agility is for Harrop to meet the stringent quality standards set both internally and by our diverse customer programs across many industries. Supporting our ability to remain dynamic we explained our long standing technical partnerships with our suppliers of CNC Machines John Hart and cutting technology Iscar.
The factory tours concluded in our Harrop Performance Centre (HPC), which was the first public preview of our new logo design. Harrop Performance Centre was packed full of BMW goodies and a few other Euro track weapons of a different breed.
HPC customers’ Joe and Jeff were kind enough to lend their fantastic BMW M3 and 1M for display, receiving a great deal of attention from everyone in the room. Jeff’s 1M recognised for its superior stance, equipped with the Harrop Ultimate Brake Kit and Joe’s E92 M3 showcasing our TVS1740 Supercharger kit’s superior engine bay integration.
It
wasn’t all Harrop product on display, with our premium suspension offerings
from KW and titanium exhaust system technology from Akrapovic showcased and some
of the Harrop fast fleet members lurking just outside HPC.
