Harrop
is proud to launch the Harrop Ultimate Street Car Invitational (HUSCI), a safe
and competitive event, set to challenge performance enthusiasts across two days
on 25-26 October 2015.
“As passionate performance enthusiasts we identified that a fun and competitive event for diverse street cars was lacking,” said Heath Moore, General Manager Harrop Engineering. “Like our products, we decided to develop our own by creating HUSCI – an event dedicated to celebrating diverse automotive performance,” he stated.
Designed
for performance enthusiasts with modified street cars, HUSCI will test each
drivers skill set and vehicle performance across several elements. The HUSCI
experience will start with the road rally from Harrop HQ to Winton Raceway,
where all track components will take place. This includes side-by-side
Motorkhana, Auto Test, Drag Strip & Circuit shootout.
“We are proud supporters of broad spectrum performance, from a Pro-Touring Muscle Car through to a track focussed Lotus; therefore we are welcoming all vehicle types to participate in the event,” Heath added.
Driver’s
performance will be judged and scored throughout the two days, in order to find
Australia’s ultimate street car. The event will be captured through video and
photography for professional promotion through media outlets, with entrants
also receiving access to quality footage of their performance during the
competition.
“We are now less than two months away from the event and we welcome nominations from drivers to participate in the inaugural Harrop Ultimate Street Car Invitational.”
